City of Omaha traffic engineers say that due to extensive undermining caused by a recent water-main break, repair work on Blondo Street in west Omaha will be extended an additional seven to 10 days.
During the repair work, traffic will be head to head in one eastbound lane and one westbound lane from 103rd Street to 106th Street.
Engineers also announced these closures:
— State Street, from 30th Street to 42nd Street, has various restrictions including closures. The restrictions and closings are due to milling and resurfacing work by Western Engineering and they will be in effect for four days.
— 30th Street, from Curtis Avenue to Belvedere Boulevard, has a southbound lane closed. The closing is due to utility work by MUD and it will be in effect for two to three days.
— 90th Street, from Embassy Row through Burt Street, has a northbound lane closed. The closing is due to utility work by MUD and it will be in effect for three to four days.
Also, beginning Saturday at 9 a.m., 144th Street, from Industrial Road to F Street, will have a southbound lane closed. This closing is due to bridge approach slab replacement by JMN Construction and it will be in effect for two weeks.
