A motorcyclist was killed Friday morning after crossing the center line and crashing into an oncoming car on South 132nd Street near the Southridge neighborhood, according to the Sarpy County Sheriff's Office.
Joshua Price, 27, of Bellevue, was declared dead at the scene, according Sheriff's Lt. Randy Furby. The motorist, Lynda Johns, 53, was cut free from her sedan and taken to Nebraska Medical Center in serious condition.
The crash occurred at 7:45 a.m. on South 132nd Street, about a half-block south of Lillian Street.
Furby said the motorcyclist, who was traveling south, may have clipped a curb before losing control of the bike and crashing into the front driver's side of the sedan.
Furby said speed could have been a factor.
