What to watch: 'Dark Knight Rises' on HBO

“The Dark Night Rises,” 7 p.m., HBO (2012)

The conclusion of the most recent Batman trilogy see Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) duking it out with Bane (Tom Hardy).

“Zero Hour,” 7 p.m. and 8 p.m., ABC (new)

ABC burns off episodes of this show with two tonight. In the first, Laila helps a wounded Vincent but also looks for an escape. In the second, Hank and Beck are sent to Asunción, Paraguay.

“Sam & Cat,” 7 p.m., Nickelodeon (new)

The girls fight to save their favorite TV show and also baby-sit a boy who asks a lot of questions.

“16 Blocks,” 7 p.m., AMC (2006)

An NYPD officer (Bruce Willis) must take a small-time crook (Mos Def) to a grand jury, but plenty of dirty cops want the witness dead.

“AFI Life Achievement Award: A Tribute to Mel Brooks,” 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., TNT (new)

The actor, director, screenwriter and producer is honored by the American Film Institute. Presenters include Martin Scorsese, Martin Short, Billy Crystal and Cloris Leachman.

“Sinbad,” 8 p.m., Syfy (new)

Thieves capture Sinbad and the crew of the Providence.

“Primeval: New World,” 9 p.m., Syfy (new)

Dylan mulls Evan's job offer, while Evan and Mac check out the sighting of a prehistoric sea serpent.
