There's so much going on in Omaha this weekend, it may be impossible to do it all. Head to Omaha Beer Fest, check out some art work, support local musicians or sample some Polish or Italian food. Just make sure to sleep.

FRIDAY

Summer Arts Festival

Farnam Street, between 10th and 15th Streets

Friday through Sunday

Free

If you're looking for some new art to hang in your home, take a walk around downtown Omaha this weekend. One hundred thirty-five artists from all over the country will be showcasing their wares.

Benson First Friday and OEAA Showcase

Downtown Benson

Friday and Saturday night

Benson will be exploding with entertainment this weekend as Benson First Friday celebrates its first anniversary. Grab a wristband for Friday and Saturday night and get a chance to see any number of 80 bands performing as part of the Omaha Entertainment and Art Awards Summer Showcase. There will be visual art on display and plenty of food and drink specials, too.

Omaha Beer Fest

Friday, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

General admission, $30 in advance, $35 at the door; VIP admission, $50 in advance, $60 at the door

If you didn't get your fill of brews at last weekend's beer fest in Benson, here's another opportunity. Fifty American craft breweries are represented at this two-day event.

SATURDAY

Santa Lucia Festival

The Santa Lucia Festival was founded in 1925 by a woman who wanted to re-create a festival of the same name held in her homeland of Sicily. Today, it means we get to enjoy some delicious Italian food and see one of the most popular Frank Sinatra impersonators in the country.

Enjoy a beautiful day with some delicious polish sausages and pierogies as well as 11 different kinds of Polish beer. Maybe after a few beers, you'll be comfortable enough to dance to polka music in public.
